Information used by Publisher

When you connect a social account, Publisher handles the account information and access tokens made available through that platform’s authorization process. It also handles the media, content, and publishing instructions you provide.

How authorization is used

Connected social-platform authorization is used only to perform user-authorized actions. Account information and access tokens support account connections, approved media management, and publishing or scheduling on the platforms you select.

To carry out a publishing instruction, Publisher sends the relevant content and information to the selected platform. The platform may handle that information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Disconnecting and revoking access

You may disconnect a connected account in Publisher or revoke access in the social platform’s account settings. Removing authorization can prevent future publishing through that connection. Posts already published on a third-party platform may need to be managed there.

We review requests in light of applicable law and the information we hold. Disconnecting a platform account and requesting deletion of Publisher-held information are separate actions.
